More About Enterprise Facilitation
Enterprise Facilitation is a community development model that similar to rural barn raisings. That’s when the community came together to build a barn for another community member. Enterprise Facilitation applies that same concept by having community members help entrepreneurs build a microenterprise.
Enterprise Facilitation uses community assets - local citizen leaders and sound business practices to assist people in starting microenterprises. Community business owners and professionals act as mentors, which come along side of the entrepreneurs to assist in the support and growth of the microenterprise business.
Enterprise Facilitation supports the passion and ideas of local entrepreneurs wanting to start a viable business. Entrepreneurs require precise understanding, guidance, and support to meet head on challenges and issues along the path from start-up through business growth. In the end, Enterprise Facilitation contributes to a diversity of good economic opportunities for all citizens.
